Lakeside Lodge Clemson - Hotel & Resort

I had one of the best hotel experiences during my recent stay. The entire property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—but what truly made it memorable was the incredible service. A special shoutout to the front desk lady working Friday evening—she was absolutely amazing. Warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from the moment I checked in. It's rare to find someone who makes you feel so welcome and taken care of, and she did just that. The room was cozy and quiet, the amenities were top-notch, and the location was convenient for everything I needed. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back. Huge thanks again to the evening front desk staff—you made all the difference

The buildings and grounds are very clean and updated. It's super close to Clemson University and the staff I have interacted with have been amazingly accommodating. We will be back!

Stayed here with my mom last Friday and this place was good. The elevators were nice, the staff were helpful, and the bathrooms were pretty good. The pool looked pretty nice, and I would’ve loved to swim in it if it weren’t cold outside. I was a little disappointed to not find any microwave or mini fridge in the studio room we stayed in. My main complaints are the train track right across the street making some noise at night and the keycard readers in the elevators not always correctly reading a tap.

Second time staying here in 3 years and it was just as perfect as the first time . Cozy peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful rooms with great amenities and services. The pool is near the amphitheater and you can see the lake as well. It’s a great place to stay if you love nature and I personally love the hydrangeas on the grounds. I also like that you need a key to use the elevator which made me feel more relaxed and safe.

Cheryl and Natasha at the desk were extremely helpful in our last minute stay. Sooo friendly, just what you want to greet you while traveling! The hotel is super clean and very comfortable. Pool was so relaxing and Kylie at the bar was welcoming and working hard in the heat with a smile!! Had a steak dinner and the husband had the shrimp scampi… DELICIOUS!

We’ve stayed here twice now and have liked it very much. Last stay they were busy with several Clemson related events: summer graduation, orientations etc. This meant we had a lot of families & “energetic” youngsters which made it quite loud in the evening and amenities were crowded, but we still enjoyed our stay. My biggest recommendation to management is that they improve registration/check-in. 5 groups were lined up to check in ahead of me and they took way too long with each check in, and showed no sense of urgency. It was the same tedious process on our previous stay.

Beautiful property. Nice rooms. Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Pool and hot tub, with pool bar. Was not impressed with maid service. Only changed towels and did not refill coffee ot take and replace dirty cups. The staff, reception and restaurant were kind and helpful.

Beautiful Place! The bed is so comfortable and the pillows are perfect! The shower is upscale and has lots of room. When you first walk in the lobby it smells so amazing. The lovely scent continues throughout the hallways of the hotel. We will definitely make plans to come back and stay here. A perfect nights sleep. The staff are friendly. Very clean hotel.
